Through our Sanitary Hygiene Initiative, Msichana Uganda is not only addressing the immediate menstrual hygiene needs of girls but also contributing to broader SDGs and WASH considerations. Quality Education
Additionally, our initiative aligns with SDG 4 (Quality Education) by ensuring that girls have the necessary resources to attend school regularly and focus on their studies without the interruption of menstruation. By addressing the menstrual hygiene needs of girls, we contribute to SDG 5 (Gender Equality) by breaking down barriers that prevent girls from fully participating in education and other aspects of society.
Clean Water and Sanitation
Furthermore, our efforts contribute to SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and WASH considerations by promoting access to safe and hygienic menstrual products and facilities. We recognize the importance of proper sanitation and hygiene practices in menstrual health management and strive to create an environment where girls can manage their menstruation with dignity and without stigma.
